Sometimes it is necessary to copy the backup onto several floppy disks or to split the backup into several parts. Usually splitting is required for copying a large backup onto several disks. It is called backup export.
To export a backup select it in the backup pane, right-click it and select "Export backup". A dialog appears where you should specify target directory to copy backup parts, A:\ by default. You should also specify maximum size of a part (backup volume). Usually when exporting to floppy disks you should select "disk size" or "standard" and select disk size (1.44 Mb by default). If you are exporting to partially occupied disks select the option "using all free space on every disk".
If "disk size" option is selected Backupper will split the backup into volumes each size of a floppy disk. Floppies to contain backups should be empty; if a disk is not empty Backupper will warn you and ask for another disk. It is possible to erase disks before backup: to do this the checkbox "Erase disks before backup" should be set. Then Backupper will propmt for deleting all files on the disk before backup.
If you are exporting onto a hard disk, the specified directory will contain subdirectories Disk_001, Disk_002 etc.
