Backup restoration

To unpack (restore) a backup you should:

Start Manager;
select the section in the section pane;
select the backup in the backup pane;
Select "Backups - Restore backup" command.

Restoration dialog appears. You can specify the target directory (data directory by default) and whether a reserve backup will be created.

If the checkbox "Create a reserve backup first" is set Backupper will save the files from the data directory in the reserve backup and only then will perform restoration. Would you wish to undo the restoration Backupper will use the reserve backup to roll back to the previous state.

You can cancel restoration by selecting "Actions - Cancel task".

Note.

When restoring a reserve backup new reserve backup will not be created.
If you are restoring not to the data directory but to another one then it must be empty or it should not exist (will be automatically created).
