You can set backup collection parameters on this tab.
"Backup directory field" sets the directory to place current section backups.
"Replicate to" field contains list of directories to place replicas of current section backups. New backup will be automatically copied to specified directories. If the checkbox aside is not set replication will not be performed.
| Note. If a new directory is added to the list "Replicate to", Backupper will automatically copy to this directory all current manual and automatic backups created for this section. This replication is performed upon saving section parameters. Note that reserve, stationary and imported backups are not replicated. When a certain directory is removed from the list, Backupper will delete from the directory all backups for this section. |
"Keep a total of ... backups" determines the number of section backups to keep in the backup directory. It is recommended that you set the value to at least "5".
You can select differential backups to include only updated files in the backup. This requires the number of full series and maximum series length, and the checkbox "Backup only if the data have been updated" ('Options' tab) is set automatically.
Field "Keep a total of ... reserve backups" determines the number of reserve backupsto keep in the backup directory. Reserve backups are created before restoration of data from the backup. It is recommended that you set the value to at least "3".
