You can start Manager through the Windows menu "Start - Programs - Backupper - Manager" or via Backupper Agent: click on the Agent icon in the system tray and select "Start Manager".
You can start several copies of Manager at a time for setting up backup parameters on several remote Engines. To allow only one copy of Manager at a time unset the checkbox "Allow several copies of Manager at a time" on the Manager options tab in Global options.
Emgine can be started the following ways:
Engine is normally started at computer startup (as a Windows NT/2000/XP service) or after Windows login (as a usual application). Starting mode is determined in the Global options программы on tabs "Start and stop" and "Account" in the "Engine" cluster.
To work with sections Manager connects to Engine that holds the necessary sections. If Engine has not been started Manager's call launches Engine and then connection is performed.
Shortcut to Agent is placed in the startup folder during insrallation of Backupper. Normally Agent is started at Windows startup.
You can start Agent manually via Windows menu: "Start - Programs - Backupper - Agent".
