Trial and unrestricted versions
You can try Backupper before you buy it.
Each of the Backupper editions has two versions of installation packs: a trial version and an unrestricted version. Trial versions can be freely downloaded from the Backupper homepage or other software download sites. Unrestricted versions are not freely available, you need buy Backupper to get an unrestricted version.
Trial version of Backupper has all features of the unrestricted version of the corresponding edition, but you can use it only for a trial period of 30 days. When the trial period is over, Backupper runs in a restricted mode. The restrictions of this mode are:
- you cannot change section parameters;
- you cannot create new sections/groups/profiles;
- you cannot change Engine settings;
- you cannot perform operations on backups, except viewing backup properties and contents.
In other words, in restricted mode Backupper supports only previously set backup tasks. Besides, in 10 days after installation the trial version of Backupper starts displaying a nag screen on Manager or Agent startup.
